    Parent University has released its schedule for the upcoming school year. Parents will find helpful classes on curriculum, testing preparation, technology, and leadership classes. All parents are welcome to attend. Classes start September 17th. If you are interested, download the application and schedule sheets or visit Parent University's website.

  • District Online Learning Guidelines 
    In a cooperative effort with GaVS, ECSD encourages students to consider an online option for either courses that are not locally available or for courses the student may believe themselves to be more successful in when taken in an online environment. Interested parents and students should read the guidelines for Virtual School Classes.

  • Parents' Right to Know
    Parents may request the following information regarding teacher qualifications as required by the "Every Student Succeeds" Act: Information regarding their student’s classroom teacher’s certificate or credentials, and/or college major and graduate degree information. Parents may also request information regarding the licensing and training of paraprofessionals. Requests may be made in writing to the school principal or Mrs. Susan Hartzog, Director of Human Resources, Effingham County BOE, 405 North Ash Street, Springfield, GA 31329.
